Gate Installer Diploma
New for 2018 Gate Installation Diploma
The Gate Installer Diploma is a unique training course provided through HSL.
The course is unique due to the hands-on, practical nature, not just an automation and safety overview course (although these elements are covered).
The training will cost £999pp ex VAT and will run for 5 days; the days do not have to be consecutive.
The Gate Installer Diploma training will be a 5 day course the course will consist of :
Day 1
Health and Safety on site
Gate and Barrier recognition
Gate Automation and Control Systems
Gate Accessories and their application
Day 2
Use of test equipment for electrical safety
Use of test equipment for fault diagnosis and PPM
Gate safety legislation overview
Use of safety devices for safe gate systems
Risk Assessments
Use of gate safety test equipment and documentation
Day 3
Safety in welding
Understanding machine controls
Weld machine set up
Positional techniques
Practical welding practice
Day 4
Practical fitting of automation
Practical wiring, energising and commissioning
Practical fitting and testing of safety systems
Documentation and handover completion pack practice
Day 5
GID assessment comprising of multiple choice exam and practical fitting assessment
