Graeme Dixon, one of our Technical Support Engineers, is back again to answer some of your most frequently asked questions on our newest Teleco garage door opener. Read along as he shares some essential knowledge on the Simple Panel.


How Do I Enter / Exit the ‘limit learning’ Mode On My Teleco Simple Control Panel?


To enter the ‘limit learning’ mode on your Teleco Simple control panel, first power off and back on again, then press and hold the P1 & P2 button three times and hold them in on the third press until the control panel emits a long beep and both LEDs flash slowly. To exit this mode, again press and hold P1 & P2 buttons together three times, holding them on the third press until the control panel beeps and the LEDs stop flashing.


How Do I Enter The Programming Mode On My Teleco Simple Control Panel?


To enter the programming mode on your Teleco Simple control panel, press and hold both the P1 & P2 together for five seconds, until the control emits one long beep and both LEDs start to flash quickly. The control panel will automatically exit this mode after eight seconds of inactivity.


How Do I Program A Handset To My Teleco Simple Control Panel?


To program a handset to your Teleco Simple control, first enter the programming mode as previously detailed.


For single button operation, press and hold the P2 button until you get a continuous tone from the control panel, then press the required button on the handset and the continuous tone will become an intermittent tone.


For dedicated direction operation, short press and then press and hold the P2 button until you get a continuous tone from the control panel, then press the top button on the handset and then the continuous tone will become an intermittent tone.
