The first race Neil was competing in was at Chicksands bike park in Bedfordshire in the month of March. In the qualifying rounds he had 1st, 2nd, 1st, then got through to the semi final. In the final Neil was leading all the way down to the last corner but got pipped to the line, finishing 2nd in his class.

The second round of the series was held in Harthill Cheshire, this was in the month of April. At the end of the race Neil walked away having been placed 1st. This was an extremely big achievement due to Neil crashing in his 2nd moto (Heat race). Despite all the challenges Neil had, he still had the strength to carry on and win the final!

The third race of the British 4X series that Neil was competing in was held in Fort William Scotland. At the end of the race Neil walked away having placed 1st in all his races he had that day.

Neil is currently leading the series in his age category, but with 4 more rounds to go anything can happen.

Neil has been a competitive racer in BMX and 4X events for around 35 years. Starting out as a young novice at 6 years old, Neil started competing in regional races, eventually moving up to national and international racing from only 10 years old.

He is currently sponsored by Ellard, Dialled Bikes, Bike Track and more recently Aj & sons roller shutters (Merthyr Tydfil) who came on board this season, many thanks for this.
