Direct Drive Motors are used for installations that do not require anti fall back devices as this is built into the motor gear box. These are typically industrial roller doors and grilles, non-counterbalance and vertical lift doors. Our Direct Drive range comes prewired to the Promax control panel as standard and is available with both mechanical or digital limits.

The DDO 170 motor is equipped with a choice of mechanical or digital limits and a low-level haul chain to be used in the event of a power failure to open or close a door.

The motor is capable of lifting a typical roller shutter weighing approx. 280Kg's at a speed of 12rpm.
