At Ellard, we recognise the importance of fostering an inclusive workplace and industry. As part of the infrastructure and construction Indutrade sector, we can not ignore the challenges facing our industry, from low ethnic minority and female representation to an ageing workforce in need of fresh talent. That’s why we’re excited to introduce our new Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Taskforce, a dedicated team committed to driving meaningful change.
Meet the DEI Team

Spearheaded by Danie Clubb and Jules Drake, our DEI Taskforce is supported by a group of passionate volunteers:
Mark Molyneux
Kathryn Lea
Nick Lord
Fizzah Tauqeer
Why This Matters
The construction and infrastructure sector has long faced challenges in equity and inclusion, with systemic barriers limiting opportunities for underrepresented groups. Ensuring that all employees, regardless of background, have equal access to career development, fair treatment, and a voice in decision-making is essential for long-term success. Additionally, with an ageing workforce, it’s crucial to create an inclusive culture that attracts and retains new talent while supporting the professional growth of all employees.
By prioritising equity and inclusion, we can foster a stronger, more engaged workforce where everyone has the resources and support they need to thrive.
Our Commitment
The DEI Taskforce is set to tackle these challenges by:
✔️ Raising Awareness – Educating teams on the importance of inclusion and representation.
✔️ Creating Opportunities – Encouraging diverse hiring practices and career development.
✔️ Fostering a Supportive Culture – Ensuring that all employees feel valued and heard.
This is just the beginning of our journey. While we’re still in the early stages, we’re excited to share this journey with you and make meaningful progress towards a more equitable and inclusive future!
