Kathryn Lea and Lydia Lyttle began their journey at Ellard at the beginning of February this year, both joining the team as Customer Service Coordinators.
Kathryn Lea has worked in various customer service roles in industries as diverse as fine food retail, media and film to construction and building maintenance. She explains how this large range of experience makes her a great fit for this role; “whatever the subject matter or field, I have always wanted to solve problems, resolve issues and leave customers feeling satisfied and happy with the service provided.”
She added, “ This is a completely different industry to those that I have worked in, and I’m really excited to be working with such an amazing team of knowledgeable and very welcoming colleagues. Even in the short time that I’ve been here, I have thoroughly enjoyed the new challenges and ongoing training, and I look forward to growing and developing my career with Ellard.
Lydia has also worked in numerous fast-paced industries, working in her previous role as a Logistics Coordinator for thirteen years. Having worked as a Logistics Coordinator, which is a customer service-oriented role, she has developed strong communication and problem-solving skills that make her a perfect candidate for the role.
When speaking to Lydia, we asked what she was most looking forward to, and she stated; “I am most excited to work within a new team and to face this new challenge. The Ellard team have been so friendly and accommodating whilst I’ve been settling in. They have been so helpful with training and answering any questions I have.”
