After beginning his career at Ellard in the technical team, supporting product development, training, and customer calls, Jeff Monks has now returned to the business in a new role, Quality Control Manager
His journey took him away from Ellard during COVID, when a move to the countryside felt like the right next step. Although that chapter didn’t work out as planned, the timing of an opportunity back at Ellard couldn’t have been better. “It feels just like coming home,” he reflects.
In his new position, Jeff is responsible for ensuring that both Ellard’s products and service meet the highest standards. This includes in-house testing, auditing, and staying in line with regulations, work that directly supports customers by giving them confidence in both the reliability of the products and the company behind them.
Looking ahead, his goal is to build on the positive momentum he has already seen since returning to Ellard. With the leadership team driving fresh energy and alignment across the business, he’s eager to play his part in raising product standards in the same way the culture has been elevated.
Bridging the gap between technical and commercial teams, Jeff sees himself as a connector, ensuring customer needs and regulatory requirements go hand in hand with commercial viability. As he puts it, “The answer isn’t always going to be yes, but wherever possible, it won’t be no.”
