One Month, Three Events: From Blinds to Fire Safety, Showcasing Innovation and Building Partnerships

April has been a busy and rewarding period for Ellard, with several key industry events giving us the chance to reconnect with customers, strengthen partnerships and showcase the latest developments across our product range. 

Trade shows remain an important part of how we stay close to the market. They create valuable opportunities for face-to-face conversations, honest feedback and a better understanding of the challenges our customers are solving every day. They also give us the platform to share innovation, demonstrate new solutions and build stronger relationships across the industries we support. 

These events highlighted the strength of those connections and the continued demand for reliable, forward-thinking products across blinds, fire safety and automation sectors. 

Ellard and MDS: The Fire Safety Event 2026

Ellard was proud to exhibit alongside MDS Industries at The Fire Safety Event 2026 at the NEC Birmingham.

As one of the UK’s leading gatherings for fire safety professionals, the event brought together specialists from across the sector to explore the latest developments in compliance, technology and life safety systems. 

Exhibiting with MDS gave us the opportunity to showcase solutions designed to support compliant, dependable and efficient fire door and shutter systems. It also allowed us to meet with industry professionals, discuss upcoming projects and better understand the evolving requirements facing the industry.

Window Blind Forum Networking Event 2026

We were pleased to attend the Window Blind Forum Networking Event for the fourth consecutive year. The event once again brought together manufacturers, installers and suppliers from across the blinds industry for a day centred around collaboration, discussion and shared insight. 

For Ellard, it was a valuable opportunity to spend time with existing customers, meet new contacts and discuss the trends shaping the market. Events like this continue to reinforce the importance of strong partnerships and open conversation within the blinds sector. 

We were also proud to unveil a new addition to the Ellard range during the event, giving attendees an exclusive first look at what’s next from our blinds division. More updates are coming soon. 

April Interiors Trade Show

We were also delighted to exhibit at April Interiors, another important event within the blinds and interiors calendar. 

This was our first time attending, and the show provided a fantastic opportunity to present our growing blinds automation range to a new, wider audience and demonstrate how Ellard solutions can help businesses offer smarter, more efficient end products.

From battery-powered blind motors to connected control systems, the event generated strong interest and valuable conversations around what customers want next from modern blind automation.
