How do I set the Digital Limits On the ProMax3 Control Panel?
With the door in the closed position, press and hold the program up button for two seconds until the led above it comes on, now use the button to the left of it, press the program up button again momentarily, the LED will flash and go out to confirm your set point. Now press and hold the program down button for two seconds until the LED above it comes on, and use the button to the left of it, until the desired closed position is reached, now press the program down button momentarily, the LED will flash and go out to confirm your set point.
How do I configure the auto detection safety edge on my ProMax3 control panel?
On digital limits the safety edge should be terminated before the limits are learnt, the safety edge will auto detect during the limit learning.
On mechanical limits, the limits on the motor must be set before the procedure is attempted. With the door on the closed limit, press and hold the program up button for two seconds until the LED above it comes, now use the button to the left of it to travel the door to the open limit. Once the open limit is reached, press and hold the program down button for two seconds until the LED above it comes on, now press the button to the left of it to travel the door down to the closed limit again.
Why is the door not travelling on installation?
If the error light is flashing 4 slow and 1 quick flashes, the limit configuration will be incorrect. Check the last dip switch on the bank of two. It should be off for digital limits or on for mechanical limits.
