How do I set the travel limits on the E-GDO-1000?

Press and hold the SET button until the LED displays 01.
Use the UP button to move the door to its upper limit. Fine-tune using UP or DOWN.
Press SET – the display will switch to 02.
Now, use the DOWN button to move to the lower limit. Fine-tune as needed.
Press SET again. The opener will run a full cycle to store limit positions and auto-calibrate force.
Display shows --: No travel limits set.
Display shows FF: Travel limits successfully saved.
How do I pair transmitters to the E-GDO-1000?

Hold the UP button until the LED dot flashes. (Fig a)
Press any button on the transmitter twice. The LED will flash quickly and turn off – pairing successful.
To clear all transmitters, hold UP for more than 8 seconds until the LED shows 00. (Fig B)
How do I set the safety reverse force?

Hold SET until the LED shows 03.
Adjust force using: UP to increase (Max: 09), DOWN to decrease (Min: 01)
Important: Levels 04–09 require a working photobeam. Without one, only use 01–03.
How do I program the auto-close feature?

Hold SET until the LED shows 04.
Use UP/DOWN to adjust time (1 = 10 sec, 2 = 20 sec... max = 54 = 540 sec).
Press SET to confirm.
Display 0: Auto-close disabled.
Note: Photobeam must be installed and working before activating auto-close.
How do I enable or disable the photobeam function?

Hold SET until the LED shows 05.
Press:
UP for 1: Enable photo beam.
DOWN for 0: Disable.
Press SET to confirm.
Note: If enabled but not physically connected, the door won’t close. Please ensure that the connected infrared sensors is controlled by pulse control photobeam, and wired as seen in figure 15.
How do I set up Wi-Fi control for the E-GDO-1000?
Things to know before you start:
Travel limits must be set.
Only 2.4GHz Wi-Fi is supported.
Only one main account can be linked (but can invite others).
Step-by-step:

Hold DOWN until LED shows 0.
Press UP:
a.Display 01: Enter Wi-Fi connect mode.
b.Display 02: Reset Wi-Fi.
Press SET to confirm the selected mode.
Download Smart GDO app (iOS/Android) → Register/Login → Add Device → Choose "Garage" → Wait for fast-blinking indicator.
In app: Connect to Wi-Fi, enter password, then press “Confirm.”
a. LED will show FF. and blink during pairing.
b. After success: press “Done.”
c. If failed: reset and retry.
To remove device:
Option 1: Remove via app.
Option 2: Reset GDO (Hold DOWN until 0, then UP until 2, then SET).
Accessing and Configuring Special Features
The E-GDO-1000 includes several advanced functions designed to meet different user needs. Here's how to access each feature:
Partial Opening Function
Allows the door to open to a predefined height.

Hold UP + DOWN together until the LED displays 06.
Press SET.
Use UP/DOWN to select height (1 = 10cm … 20 = 200cm).
Press SET to confirm.
0 disables the feature.
Note: The partial height must be less than the full open limit.
Lock Button on Transmitter
Disables the remote control after the door is fully closed.

From 06, press UP to display 07.
Press SET.
Press:
UP = Enable (1)
DOWN = Disable (0)
Press SET to confirm.
Function: After 5 seconds of full closure, the remote is locked. Press the unlock button first to use it again.

Door Open Only Mode

Restricts the remote to open only when enabled.
Press and hold UP and DOWN together until the display shows figure 06, then press UP to display 08.
Press SET to confirm the door is in open-only mode
Press:
UP = Enable (1)
DOWN = Disable (0)
Press SET to save.
Closing Speed Selection

Adjusts the speed at which the door closes.
From 06, press UP to display 09.
Press SET.
Choose:
UP = Normal speed (L)
DOWN = High speed (H)
Press SET to confirm.
Note: High-speed mode requires a compatible high-speed motor and active photo beam.
Vacation Mode

Locks out all remotes and outdoor keypads while active. This is ideal for extended absences or security-sensitive periods.
From 06, press UP to display 11.
Press SET.
Press:
UP = Enable (1)
DOWN = Disable (0)
Press SET to confirm.
This feature can also be activated through the app.
